MYDS DIRECT ENERGY / CONSUMER INFORMATION

Consumer Privacy Notice

Last updated: 27 October 2026.

Who we are and how to contact us

MYDS Direct Energy is a consumer brand of MYDS Growth, operated by Flynn Declan Chambers, ABN 15 595 502 443, in Queensland, Australia. This notice covers consumer installation enquiries made through MYDS Direct Energy. For privacy enquiries, access, corrections, withdrawal or complaints, contact sales@mydsgrowth.com.

Information collected when the live form is enabled

The enquiry asks for your name, email address, phone number, installation postcode, requested services, property authority, installation timeframe, quote intent, service-specific answers and optional project details. Provide information about your own project or a project you are authorised to discuss. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information, identity documents or payment details.

We also record an enquiry reference, receipt time, contact and sharing permissions, notice version and consent reference, the website source, qualification result, postcode-check evidence and CRM processing status. We use these records to manage the enquiry and its permissions, resolve errors and identify possible repeat submissions.

Unsaved answers are held in the page’s memory rather than local storage or session storage. Closing or reloading the page clears those unsaved answers. Website infrastructure may separately process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information and security logs.

Submission and use of your enquiry

A successful submission receipt confirms that your enquiry was saved. It does not confirm that a CRM update, installer match, notification, quote or booking has occurred. If a receipt cannot be confirmed, retain your answers and follow the form’s retry instructions.

We use your information to assess the enquiry, contact you about it, manage a potential installer introduction and handle related corrections, withdrawals or concerns. Automated checks consider your answers, property permission, quote intent, timeframe, postcode evidence and recorded exceptions. Enquiries seeking installation within three months may pass the initial criteria; unclear permissions, later timeframes, research-stage enquiries and uncertain checks need review.

These checks do not verify phone ownership, property ownership, a specific street address, technical suitability or installer availability. A possible duplicate needs review rather than a claim that no new project exists. A qualified enquiry may wait for a suitable partner.

Sharing with an installation business

With your sharing permission, our proposed model sends an eligible project to one approved installation business. Before release, we will identify the proposed receiving business and explain the relevant project information to be shared, so you can raise a concern or withdraw permission. We will not release the enquiry until that recipient step is completed.

The receiving business may contact you about the requested work, assess the project and discuss a quote. Its own privacy arrangements apply to its handling of information it receives. You can ask us about the proposed recipient before sharing. Service coverage, suitability and capacity must be checked; an Australia-wide website does not mean a partner is available in every postcode.

One partner per project describes how MYDS distributes the enquiry. It does not stop you independently contacting other businesses. Your enquiry permission does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing or authorise a broadcast of your details to multiple installers. We may also handle or disclose information where required by applicable law.

Providers and overseas handling

Vercel hosts the website, Supabase stores enquiries and processing records, and GoHighLevel holds CRM contacts and project Opportunities. The existing Supabase primary database is in Singapore. Google Workspace handles messages sent to our sales and privacy mailbox.

These providers operate international infrastructure and may use subprocessors. Information may be handled outside Australia, including Singapore; an Australian-only arrangement has not been established. A primary database location does not establish where every backup, log, support activity or provider operation occurs. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry, and we will seek the available provider details.

The consumer proposal does not include automated SMS or consumer email notifications. If we add another provider, notification channel, tracking tool or materially different use, the notice and any relevant choices must be reviewed before that change.

Security and retention

The proposed live workflow uses server-side validation, restricted database access, signed form checks, a honeypot and rate limiting. A keyed rate-limit identifier is derived from technical connection information; a raw IP address is not saved in the enquiry table. Infrastructure providers may process IP information separately. No system can promise absolute security.

For enquiries that do not progress to an active project, our retention period is 12 months after the last contact, unless information is needed for a dispute or a legal obligation. Records needed for an active project are kept for that purpose and reviewed when it ends. We do not treat an enquiry as permission to keep unrelated information indefinitely.

Deletion is manual and covers copies under MYDS control, including source enquiry records, CRM records and relevant mailbox copies. No automatic 12-month deletion timer is running. Provider backups and logs have separate retention arrangements that may limit immediate removal. Approved deletions must be reapplied if an earlier backup is restored.

Access, correction, withdrawal and complaints

Email sales@mydsgrowth.com to request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal, or to raise a privacy concern. Include enough information to locate the enquiry without sending unnecessary sensitive documents. Identity checks, an active project, a dispute or legal retention needs may affect how a request is handled.

Withdrawal affects future handling where possible. It cannot automatically recall information already received by an installer or a request already in progress. We will address copies under our control and explain relevant next steps for the receiving business’s copy.

We will review privacy concerns and explain the available next steps. Information about Australian privacy rights and complaint options is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (opens in a new tab).

Cookies, optional tracking and updates

The website does not install advertising pixels or optional analytics, and form answers are not saved in browser storage. Hosting and security services may separately use essential technical cookies or logs. Material changes to collection, sharing or tracking should be reflected in the published notice and any relevant choices.
