What we prepared

The snapshot is dated 28 October 2026 at 7:23 am AEST. We adapted it into a separate reference of 1,939 postcodes with multiple mapped street-address features. Preparation requires at least two map objects with two distinct normalised street-name values. Ambiguous, weak, explicit foreign-country and post-box/post-office-only evidence is excluded.

The extract contains postcode codes and aggregate evidence counts. It does not publish street names, house numbers, coordinates, map object IDs or contributor identities. The reference is stored in our backend; a consumer enquiry is not sent to OpenStreetMap, Geofabrik or a public geocoder.

What a match means

OpenStreetMap is community-maintained. A match is a geographic reference, rather than verification of a current official postcode, street address, property, technical suitability or installation business availability. Missing or weak matches need review; absence alone does not make a postcode invalid. The reference does not claim complete national postcode coverage.

Reference data and licence

The adapted reference database is offered under ODbL 1.0. Its data rows mark our geographic-evidence threshold, rather than an installer service area. The downloads retain attribution, licence links and details of the changes. Private consumer enquiries and CRM records are not included.

Freshness and review

This snapshot is reviewed separately from any installation enquiry. It has a project review checkpoint of 27 November 2026, 10am AEST. An expired, unavailable or uncertain reference must not silently qualify an enquiry. No automatic dataset refresh is running.
